Family Advocate

Jane, Family Advocate for KSC is a certified interventionist (CCMI) and a certified drug counselor (CADC-ll), based in Los Angeles and Palm Springs. She has personally been in recovery from addiction for over 26 years. Jane has worked as an Interventionist with i911, a caseworker at CRI-Help, Inc. and as a group facilitator in many treatment centers in the Los Angeles area.

For many years she made a living in the performing arts as an actor, writer and producer and she feels like she brings the creative approaches she used in those endeavors—improvising, empathy, honoring emotion and embracing the personal story–  to her newly chosen field of work. Jane’s passion in the recovery field is holistic recovery for the person in crisis as well as the entire family structure. Jane is a single mom to her awesome teenaged son Preston, and she loves dancing, movies, travel, cooking and crafting!
