Twenty years’ experience in Social Services/AOD (Alcohol and Drug Counselor) and Case Work Clinical Facilities. I joined a local AIDS organization in 1999, in the early years of HIV. “I came to this organization at a time when there was a lot of loss. I saw how people with HIV/chemical dependency were treated; what they had to endure, and I wanted to help our community. I decided that my professional aspirations lacked fulfillment and decided to enter into the chemical dependency field. I’m passionate about working in an environment with people that are trying to save and change their lives. I offer compassion, knowledge and support in many areas. My goal is to positively impact and support the people that come into treatment by providing tools, solutions and healthy life skills to function in society. I’m also bilingual (Spanish) and multicultural.
